The ZPEK group of companies is entering the retail segment and launching its own network of filling stations. The new line of business was presented by the group's CEO and co-owner, Oleg Chykyda, at the Petroleum Ukraine Warsaw’26 conference. As reported by London Daily News.
According to him, the company goals to offer the market a quality product and compete with the segment’s leading players.
“We want to create a quality product in the retail market. We definitely want to join it and compete with our monopolists,” Oleg Chykyda noted.

A separate brand for the future network is already in development, and Oleg Chykyda named it for the first time – Phoenix Energy. According to the company’s head, the launch is planned for 2026.
“There will be a new brand. My team and I are working on it. It will happen in 2026,” said the co-founder of ZPEK.
Oleg Chykyda has not yet disclosed the number of stations, the regions of presence, or the exact launch dates.
As a reminder, the ZPEK group of companies includes two importer-operators: Zakhidna Palyvno-Enerhetychna Kompaniya LLC and Khimzakhid LLC. The group began importing fuel in 2023 and, by the end of 2025, ranked tenth in the diesel fuel importer rankings (190,000 tonnes) and fifth among rail suppliers. In 2026, under the leadership of Oleg Chykyda, the company is maintaining its top 10 position.
