Oleg Chykyda is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and philanthropist, and one of the co-owners of ZPEK company. His professional interests include the fuel and energy sector, development, hotel and restaurant business, and the agricultural industry.
Childhood and Education
Born on June 9, 1981, in the town of Lyubeshiv in Volyn Oblast, into a family of teachers. His childhood years were spent in an environment typical for that era: studying at the local school, helping with household chores, and the very obvious prospect of staying to live in his homeland. However, it was during this time that the desire to break free from his usual surroundings and forge his own path was born.
Even while in school, he chose law and management as his future field. He participated in humanitarian Olympiads, showing an interest in politics and public administration mechanisms. After graduating from school, he enrolled in the law faculty of Volyn State University, where he combined his studies with his first attempts at earning money and engaging in entrepreneurship.
Corporate career
In the early 2000s, he gained his first real experience in retail and small business ventures. This gave him an understanding of risk, responsibility, and the rules of the market in a transition economy. The turning point was his introduction to large-scale systemic business through his work in the «Continuum» group. Starting from an entry-level legal position, he quickly immersed himself in corporate processes, asset management, and decision-making. It was then that his practical vision of how large-scale structures function, how decisions are made, and how business systems are built was formed.
Later, he joined a team that, among other things, managed the assets of UkrLandfarming and Avangard, and there gained experience in large-scale agricultural, energy, and financial projects. During this period, his responsibilities gradually expanded beyond purely legal work to encompass management, development, and the launch of new businesses.

Own business
After working for several years in large corporate structures, he returned to Lutsk and embarked on his own projects. The first step was a retail chain, which he managed to create, expand, and later sell profitably.
The next significant area turned out to be the timber processing business. Together with partners, he joined in developing production and export processes in this field, launching new facilities, and creating jobs. The project quickly gained momentum, but over time it encountered prolonged management and legal conflicts. Ultimately, this resulted in unjustified pressure from law enforcement and criminal prosecution. Although the case was eventually closed due to the absence of a crime, this difficult period forced the entrepreneur to completely revise his approaches to doing business, selecting partners, and managing risks.
Trademark Group and Industrial Chemistry
Oleg Chykyda then focused on production in the field of industrial chemistry and disinfectants. Trademark Group, a company he co-owned, collaborated with major corporate and government clients, expanded its sales geography, and entered foreign markets. This area grew particularly intensely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

LLC: Fuel Import and Supply
A new major stage began after 2022. Amidst the full-scale war and the restructuring of the fuel market, Oleg Chykyda, along with his partners, started developing the fuel import segment—this led to the founding of the ZPEK Group of Companies (Western Fuel and Energy Company).
The group is consistently developing international fuel supply routes from European Union countries, as well as its own infrastructure for storage, transshipment, and transport support, and a retail network in the petroleum products market.
In 2025, ZPEK entered the top ten largest diesel fuel importers in Ukraine and the top five suppliers by rail. The key import destinations were Poland, Lithuania, and Romania.
Other business interests
Alongside the fuel market, Oleg Chykyda is implementing projects in the electric power industry, in residential and commercial real estate construction - both in Ukraine and abroad, working in the HoReCa sector, and investing in agricultural production.
Today, the professional biography of entrepreneur and patron Oleg Chykyda is a combination of experience in large corporate governance, his own entrepreneurial practice, crisis management, and building businesses in complex and changing environments. He names responsibility for his decisions, a systematic approach, and the ability to adapt to change as his main principles.
